MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) also known as CLS (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) or MT (Medical Technologist) are responsible for preforming tests on bodily fluids. This includes blood, urine, etc. allowing doctors to interpret these results and diagnose patients with diseases or ailments.
It is said 70% of a doctors diagnosis comes from lab results.
